ARLINGTON, Va. — Four new state credit union regulators will be in Washington, D.C. this week for NASCUS' New Commissioner Orientation.

From Oct. 2-3, the commissioners will meet with federal regulators, Treasury officials and NASCUS management to learn more about NASCUS and credit unions. The new commissioners, Sarah Bloom Raskin (Md.), Steven Kaplan (Pa.), George Burns (Nev.) and Patricia Meadow (N.Y.), will also attend NCUA's Outreach Task Force Town Hall tomorrow in Arlington, Va.

"NASCUS looks forward to hosting the commissioners and providing them with a valuable introduction to NASCUS and policymakers in Washington, D.C.," NASCUS President/CEO Mary Martha Fortney said.
