MUSKEGO, Wis. — Corporate Central Credit Union is now offering an ALM package that includes a series of Webinars, a modeling workshop, quarterly reports and consulting.

Called SmartScope, the ALM assistance package is an expansion of the 390-member corporate's relationship with the Farin & Associates consulting firm. Available a la carte, as well, the program offerings focus on topics that include asset and liability management basics, interest rate risk, liquidity and ALCO reporting.

The first modeling workshop will be held Nov. 6 at Corporate Central in Muskego.

The ALCO reporting service includes easy-to-read graphics to use for communicating with board members, including trends and performance/risk ratios.

The SmartScope program was developed after meetings with Corporate Central member credit unions and regulators.

"Smart Scope fills a void in the ALM marketplace today that our members are asking for," said Nick Fanning, vice president of investments at Corporate Central.

"Every ALM product in the marketplace today can provide the necessary reporting; however, understanding the information, interpreting and anticipating the trends, and applying the knowledge to drive performance takes more," said Dave Koch, senior vice president of sales, education and business development at Farin in Fitchburg, Wis.
