ATLANTA — After 73 years, Georgia Telco Credit Union is changing its name.

The credit union will now be known as Georgia's Own Credit Union.

The new name and revamped brand will be made public through a multimedia advertising campaign, which will include the launch of a new Web site, georgiasown.org, as well as sponsorship of the Georgia Tech versus University of Georgia football game at Bobby Dodd Stadium on November 24, 2007.

The credit union recently launched a major “Go Green” campaign in conjunction with local WSB TV and other civic-minded organizations and new name and brand position not only reinforces its commitment to corporate citizenship and social responsibility, but is designed to help in reaching and serving a broader audience.
