BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Fiserv Inc. might like to say it's spreading a lot of Wisdom around credit union land.
The company says 76 new credit unions have been added to the list of CUs using its Wisdom Financial Management Suite since January.
The integrated back-office management tools, developed by Fiserv business unit IntegraSys, are now being used by more than 550 credit unions and are offered through all the CU core processors in the Fiserv fold.
Most popular among the tools is the 5300 Call Report Assistant, purchased by 57 of the 76 new clients this year. It reduces report preparation time by as much as 80%, IntegraSys says.
Thirty-nine clients, meanwhile, chose the ALM (asset and liability management) solution for assessing interest rate and other market changes. The accounting suite was chosen by 37 of the new clients, the company said.
Other offerings in the a la carte Wisdom suite include general ledger, fixed assets, pre-paid expenses, accounts payable and investment portfolio management.
"The expansion of the Wisdom client base is clearly an example of Fiserv 2.0, a companywide approach to sales and service unveiled in 2006, dedicated to helping clients realize value, opportunity and growth from a broad range of Fiserv solutions," said Scott Butler, division president for Fiserv's Depository Institution Group.
