ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — PSCU Financial Services, the card processing CUSO that serves over 500 credit unions that use the First Data card platform, continues to grow its processing business.
The $273 million Air Force Federal Credit Union, headquartered in San Antonio, is the latest to join up, saying it will convert the processing of its credit and debit card program the CUSO's system.
Air Force also joined the cooperative as a member-owner, PSCU announced.
The spur for the move came because Air Force had been searching for a consolidated rewards program for their credit and debit accounts, PSCU said.
"The cooperative offers account level pricing that evaluates cardholder account characteristics and behavior and automatically adjusts pricing at the account level," said Bob Glenn, president/CEO of Air Force Federal Credit Union in a prepared statement. "This feature will reward the loyalty of our members and eliminate manual reviews and account changes," he added.
PSCU Financial Services' Account Level Processing allows credit unions to execute pricing strategies that are based on the cardholder's credit score, credit bureau score and delinquency and over limit history. Accounts can be automatically evaluated and re-priced according to a schedule determined by each individual credit union.
The credit union will convert its users to PSCU Financial Services programs in early 2008, PSCU said.
