MONETT, Mo. — Symitar is claiming another member of the billion-dollar club, signing $1.2 billion Western Federal Credit Union of Manhattan Beach, Calif., to the Episys core processing platform.

The Episys system has now been selected by more than 30% of all credit unions exceeding $1 billion in assets, according to Symitar, a subsidiary of Jack Henry & Associates that has about 600 CU clients on its core platforms.

Western FCU currently is an XP Systems user, according to the 2007 Credit Union Technology Survey by Callahan & Associates.
