NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Michigan Credit Union League and Michigan State University Extension are teaming up to educate high school teachers, credit union staff and others about how to teach teens about saving, credit and money management.

The focus of the trainings will be on the classroom application of the newly-revamped National Endowment for Financial Education’s High School Financial Planning Program The seven-unit curriculum aims to help teens develop a greater understanding of and ability to manage their personal finances using unique games, simulations, case studies, and interactive exercises to provide hands-on experience for students to test and apply the financial principles and concepts covered in the curriculum.
