WASHINGTON — The number of lawmakers backing the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1537) reached 121 this week, including primary sponsor Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.).

Danny Davis (D-Ill.) added his name to the bill yesterday pushing CURIA within four of the 125 co-sponsors the legislation achieved last Congress. CURIA supporters are hoping for a hearing after the August recess.
