WASHINGTON — Freshman Congressman Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) is the latest to sign onto the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1537).

With the addition of Sestak, total co-sponsorship of the credit union modernization and relief legislation is 120. According to the Pennsylvania Credit Union Associations' Life is a Highway electronic newsletter, Sestak announced his co-sponsorship at a special meeting of the Delaware County Chapter. Pennsylvania has six of its 19 lawmakers signed as co-sponsors, including primary sponsor Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.).
