WASHINGTON — Co-sponsorship of the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1539) jumped to 119 after another member of Congress returned to sign onto the legislation for the 110th Congress.

Congressman John Olver (D-Mass.), a co-sponsor to the bill from the last Congress, signed on as a co-sponsor officially July 19. Including primary sponsor Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.), the total co-sponsors on the credit union regulatory relief and expansion bill are up to 119, just a handful away from the 125 in the 109th Congress.
