CHICAGO — The 4.5 billion Alliant Credit Union, formerly the United Airlines Employees Credit Union, has moved its 46,000 credit card accounts from Fidelity National Information Services to PSCU Financial Services.

Alliant has 209,000 members and is the eighth largest CU in the nation.

“The CreditAbility program offers flexible features that our members will enjoy and along with an attractive rewards program with a wide range of travel and merchandise awards to reward member loyalty and card usage. We just completed a smooth conversion and look forward to enhanced member support and single-call resolution offered by PSCU Financial Services' renowned Contact Centers,” said David Mooney, president and CEO, with Alliant in a prepared statement.

Alliant took a long time to make the decision to move, according to Deb Zona, director of operations for the CU. “We have a long history with FIS,” Zona said. “I came from there and our former CEO, Robert Bream, is there now so this was not a decision we made quickly. But I am confident we made the right decision for our members' needs.”

Bream is currently the president for card services for FIS. FIS has not yet returned a phone call about the Alliant move.
