INDIANAPOLIS — OneBridge, a credit and debit card processor for credit unions and banks nationwide, has added the ability to process Visa contactless payment transactions to its card processing abilities. By adding contactless technology and the Visa payWave feature to their cards, OneBridge clients will be at the forefront of the latest evolution in payments, the processor said.

“The ability to add the contactless feature to their cards is an attractive benefit for our clients. It will be another step in their strategies to grow their card programs,” said Jim Kern, OneBridge President. “As early adopters they will differentiate themselves in the marketplace which will lead to increased cardholder acquisition and usage as they capture spending at merchants that are historically cash-heavy.”

“Contactless payments are another way our clients can tighten the management of their card programs. We pride ourselves on offering clients very comprehensive risk management opportunities. We're thrilled to add Visa's payWave to our payment processing solutions,” said Nancy Linxwiler, OneBridge vice president of Product Development and Management.
