SHREWSBURY, N.J. — The Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act is wending its way through Congress. Whether or not it becomes law is still to be determined.

What is certain is that credit union leaders from all aspects of the industry are demanding regulatory changes that will help them better compete. From the investment area and member business lending to EFT rules and field of membership relief, the list is long.

Credit Union Times has compiled a wish list of sorts from a variety of credit union leaders that lays out what they think is necessary for credit unions to thrive going forward. Please see pages 44-45 for a look at this regulatory wish list.
