For the second consecutive year, the Utah League of Credit Unions recognized Goldenwest Credit Union, Ogden, Utah, with high honors for its charitable contributions to the community. Goldenwest received the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award in the $200-$500 million in assets category for its annual holiday-giving campaign for families-in-need throughout Weber County. Goldenwest also accepted the Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action in the $100+ million in assets category. The credit union was recognized for its free home-buying education programs presented to local community groups, businesses and schools.
