ARLINGTON, Va. — Executives with the credit union industry's shared branch networks are choosing to work and stay home this summer.

When told that the Credit Union Times was seeking vacation information for the big NAFCU Conference issue Craig Beach, vice president of marketing with Credit Union Service Corporation, laughed and said he would spend some of his vacation time with his family in Hawaii in the days leading up to the NAFCU meeting.

"My daughter graduated from high school this year and is off to the University of Georgia next year," Beach said. "So we thought this would be a good time for a family trip to Hawaii to celebrate."
