ARLINGTON, Va. — NASCUS President/CEO Mary Martha Fortney was recently elected to serve as president-elect of Women in Housing and Finance.

"To serve as president-elect of WHF is a great honor," Fortney said. "I look forward to representing WHF as president-elect and contributing to its important work to promote women in the fields of housing and finance."

Fortney has been actively involved with WHF for more than seven years. WHF was founded in 1979 and actively promotes women in the fields of financial services and housing through professional enrichment and leadership enhancement. She most recently served as the association's vice chair. Prior to that role, she was the treasurer for the WHF Foundation.
