After reading Paul Gentile's Editor's Column in the May 30 issue regarding the National Enquirer comment, I felt compelled to write to you in support of the excellent service you provide to the credit union field. I am completing my first three-year term as director at the Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union on Long Island, N.Y. and appreciate the efforts of all your staff to produce the weekly publication. In addition to attending two NAFCU conferences every year and lobbying in Washington, D.C. at the CUNA GAC Conference this year, I read your paper every week and find it an excellent vehicle for keeping abreast about innovations and issues in the credit union field. The comparison to the National Enquirer was unfair and should not be of concern to you of your staff members.

Keep up the great job of keeping the leaders in the CU field informed!
