ONTARIO, Calif. -- CO-OP Financial Services has recently launched CO-OP Concierge to help give travelers some peace of mind while they are on vacation.
Given that travelers are often subject to fraud threats and transaction blocks when using debit cards away from home, the CO-OP Concierge is composed of two elements.
The first, Falcon Travel Notification, gives credit unions access to cardholder contact information and travel itineraries, resulting in faster notification when a questionable transaction occurs. VIP Authorization Block Bypass is the second element, which allows credit unions to identify elite cardholders they want to be exempt from any transaction blocks.
"CO-OP Concierge is designed to give cardholders more confidence when they travel," said Kathy Herziger, CO-OP vice president of product development. "With a more extensive database, our credit unions can cross-reference suspicious transactions with a member's travel plans and quickly notify them of any inconsistencies.
CO-OP Concierge is offered as an extension of Falcon Fraud Manager with 24/7 Case Management and Authorization Block services.
