WASHINGTON — CUNA is the latest to donate to the Freedom First Federal Credit Union/Virginia Tech Memorial Fund.

“Certainly the tradition and hallmark of the credit union movement has been 'people helping people,'” said Dan Mica, CUNA president/CEO. “At CUNA, we hope that this contribution will serve as a reminder that the movement is committed to these values, while sharing them with the Hokie community as it begins healing and recovering.”

The fund was established by FFFCU to support the recovery and renewal process following last week's tragic shooting at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Donations will be directed toward the college's Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund.

Freedom First FCU has two branches on Virginia Tech's campus and has served the college since 1986.
