HILLSOBOROUGH, N.J. — In honor of National Credit Union Youth Week, on April 28 Affinity Federal Credit Union is hosting a special kids day with special activities ranging from vault tours, carnival-like games and prizes, to refreshments and giveaways.

In addition to the festivities, the credit union will offer special presentations throughout the day on such topics as “How to make your bank a piggy”, which encourages children to save; “Whose face is that anyway?”, which reviews historical facts about the famous faces on various coins and bills; and “What's on my dollar bill?”, designed to help kids locate items found on a dollar bill. Not to leave parents out there will also be presentations on College Savings Plans and Internet Security tips.

According to Affinity FCU Hillsborough Branch Manager Jason Vitug, the kids day event is a way to give back to the numerous families the credit union serves in the surrounding communities.

“As a not-for-profit organization, Affinity strives to be a good corporate citizen to all our members, including the youngest ones,” notes Mr. Vitug. “Our products, services and strategic focus consistently support financial literacy and education.”

The Hillsborough branch is unique in that it has a small amphitheatre for hosting on-site seminars.
