SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Postal Federal Community Credit Union in Springfield announced that it has recently merged with Central Ozarks Credit Union.
Postal Federal will be the surviving credit union with Central Ozarks' building operating as a branch in Joplin. "Central Ozarks Credit Union, established in 1932 and located in Joplin, is a strong financial institution guided by the same principle we instill in all areas of our services–'people helping people.' This merger will be a great benefit to all members involved and you can expect many positive changes–increased convenience, expanded products and services, and much more," Postal Federal's Web site (www.postalfed.org) said.
