ALEXANDRIA, Va. — NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland is scheduled to facilitate NCUA's next Access Across America Economic Empowerment Summit in Tampa, Fla.
The free March 6 program will focus on products, services and available federal resources to help credit unions reach out to their entire membership and help members achieve financial self-sufficiency. NCUA invited credit union management, staff and volunteers from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana to attend.
Subjects covered will include payday lending alternatives, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance participation, and check cashing and other services.
