WASHINGTON — NCUA and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network recently announced a joint Bank Secrecy Act Webinar to help credit unions understand their BSA obligations. The Feb. 6 Webinar, entitled BSA: A Year in Review and Setting the Table for 2007, will cover a wide range of areas regarding BSA compliance, including: oNCUA's BSA Examination Program; oTop BSA Compliance Issues; oRecent Regulatory Changes; oHow to Prepare for a BSA Compliance Review; oFinCEN's Role as BSA Administrator; and oThe Value of BSA Data. The Webinar will also include an interactive question and answer period. NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson and FinCEN Associate Director of the Regulatory Policy and Programs Division Jamal El-Hindi will co-host the virtual event from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time.
