FLINT, Mich. — Security Federal Credit Union announced the expansion of its Community Support Vehicle Loan Financing Program to include new 2007 vehicles with the 3.6 Liter, V6 engine, built at the Flint Engine South Plant. Newly added vehicles include the Cadillac CTS, Cadillac STS and the Cadillac SRX.
The financing program, which kicked off in 2005, gives Security Federal members a 1% APR discount off its current vehicle loan rate. The expanded financing program is consistent with the credit union's tradition of establishing programs that support the community and serve as a springboard to retain jobs in the Flint area, explained Security Federal President/CEO Terry Pierce.
"Security Federal's financing program was established to support both those assembling the vehicles and those who are purchasing the new vehicles," said Pierce. "It's a great program that benefits the entire community, including those businesses that supply parts to the plants operating in Genesee County."
