MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. — Kinecta Federal Credit Union celebrated International Credit Union Day by holding events that showed member appreciation while raising awareness about the history and importance of credit union's. The weeklong celebration included a daily trivia raffle to test members' knowledge of credit union history. In addition, Kinecta gave out more than 2,500 "I Love My Credit Union" stickers in select branches to encourage members to show their credit union pride and an opportunity to win an Apple iPod Nano. Members were encouraged to wear their lapel stickers at one of three shopping malls in the region on Saturday, October 21. The first member to be spotted by the Kinecta Community Patrol roaming each mall in search of dedicated members won an Apple iPod Nano.
