DALLAS — TNB Card Services, the card-processing arm of credit union owned Town North Bank, has purchased the card portfolio of the $170 million White Sands Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Las Cruces, N.M. The purchase brings to 90 the number of CU card portfolios TNB now owns and manages through agent issuer programs with the CUs, the firm said. The transaction provides TNB a portfolio of approximately 14,000 accounts worth roughly $5 million, according to NCUA data.
White Sands Federal Credit Union, originally chartered in 1952, serves employees of the White Sands Missile Range and residents of Las Cruces, N.M. With more than 32,000 members and five branches, the credit union is the eighth largest in New Mexico, TNB noted.
