SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Who needs Starbucks when commuters have The Golden 1 Credit Union?
Through Oct. 25, The Golden 1 is giving commuters a pick-me-up this fall by offering a free cup of coffee at eight locations around the capital city.
The Golden 1 coffee giveaway stand is open every Wednesday at 8 a.m.

According to The Golden 1 President/CEO Teresa A. Halleck, the idea behind the coffee giveaway was simply to thank members of the community for their support by offering them a cup of coffee, breakfast snacks and a free gift.
"We are pleased to treat residents of the Sacramento community who have been so loyal to this credit union," said Halleck.
This is the third consecutive year of the coffee giveaway.
