ST. PAUL, Minn. — Deluxe Financial Services is helping financial institutions and consumers be more proactive in their fight against identity theft. The company has recently launched Deluxe ID TheftBlock 2.0, a fraud recovery and protection turnkey program that offers two levels of protection–Deluxe ID TheftBlock Basic, a fraud recovery solution, and Deluxe ID TheftBlock Plus, a fraud detection and prevention solution.

The Basic version focuses on recovery assistance. After fraud occurs victims are provided a team of highly trained identity theft recovery agents to work on preventing additional fraud loss while helping consumers recoup certain out-of-pocket expenses and restore their credit standing.

Deluxe ID TheftBlock Plus offers consumers monitoring and protection services, including daily credit report monitoring and security alerts, for the early detection of fraudulent activity. Financial institutions can offer Deluxe ID TheftBlock 2.0 to all account holders, or to select consumer segments as an added account benefit.
