ELKHART, Ind. — Michiana Credit Union, a division of Bayer Federal Credit Union, has recently donated $90,000 to the City of Elkhart to help build a new ice track.
Part of an effort to revitalize downtown Elkhart, the ice track will be located along the east bank of the Riverwalk and will be the only facility of its kind in the Midwest.
"Because Elkhart is home to our corporate office, our staff and to the majority of our membership, we feel a significant responsibility to help maintain and improve the quality of life for those who live and work here," said Dallas Bergl, president/CEO of Bayer FCU. "We are thrilled with the improvements already made to the downtown area and can't wait to see even more progress as we go forward."
