FLORENCE, S.C. — SC Telco Federal Credit Union has broken ground on its latest branch in Florence.
Construction of the new 4,400 square-foot facility further reinforces the credit union's commitment to the community and the members it serves.
"This groundbreaking ceremony is symbolic of the start of construction," said President/CEO Steve Harkins. "More importantly, it is symbolic of the support that our members and sponsor company partners have given SC Telco since we entered the Florence market over three decades ago. The construction of this office exemplifies our commitment to the Florence community and to the nearly 4,500 members we serve here."

SC Telco has had a presence in Florence since 1972, and moved to the current location at 1307 Second Loop in 1989. The new office is scheduled to open in 2007.
