TOPEKA, Kan. — As part of the celebration and recognition of International Credit Union Day and to show its support of credit unions' efforts to prevent identity theft, Capitol CUSO, LLC, together with Credit Union Mortgage Services, is hosting a free Shred Day for members on Oct. 21.
Capitol CUSO is a multi-owned CUSO owned and operated by three Topeka, Kan. credit unions.
Credit Union Mortgage Services provides a variety of first and second-lien home mortgage products to CU members.

Members are being invited to bring their personal papers and records to the SW Wanamaker branch of Credit Union Service Centers, to be destroyed.
Event partner Shred Ink, is providing the on-site, secure service by shredding up to 8,000 pounds of paper per hour.
