LATHRUP VILLAGE, Mich. — Michigan First Credit Union's new three-story, 60,000 square foot headquarters has got locals buzzing.

Not only is the exterior equipped with heated sidewalks, but the facility includes a 10,000 square-foot, high-tech branch, designed with member convenience in mind.

The branch includes six double-stacked drive-thru lanes that can service 12 cars at a time, four drive-up ATMs and three MoneyWorks Banking Centers that can do everything from cashing checks and accepting loan payments to accepting deposits in coin, check or cash. The facility also features state-of-the-art safe deposit area with handprint technology and a children's area complete with interactive toys, books and a salt-water fish tank.
