MIRAMAR, Fla. — Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union recently partnered with Hispanic Unity of Florida for the "Back to School Immunization Drive" in Broward County, Florida.
The drive, now in its fourth year, is designed to promote awareness of immunizing children before the school year begins in early August. By law, all children must be immunized before entering their first year of school and again before the start of 7th grade.
Two immunization events were held, one in Pompano Beach and one in Hollywood. Each provided free school immunizations, free school physical exams, entertainment, refreshments and free backpacks for immunized children.

Other partners in the "Back to School Immunization Drive" included Memorial Health Care System, Holy Cross Hospital, Humana, and Children's Services Council of Broward County.
