WASHINGTON — CUNA's Renewal Review committee has been working on its recommendations to the CUNA Board regarding the changes made to the organization under Renewal when CEO Dan Mica came on board.
"They've deliberated on a number of issues based on input from credit unions and have come up with a few recommendations," CUNA Chief Economist Bill Hampel, the committee liaison, said. The committee met last week and is prepared to make its final suggestions to the CUNA Board Sept. 12.
CUNA's Renewal Review Committee reviews the organizational structure of the trade association every five years to determine what is working and what is not. When Mica started at CUNA, he made the Washington, D.C. office the new headquarters and shrank the size of CUNA's Board, among other matters.
