ORANGE, Texas — Sabine Federal Credit Union is getting a new look for its main branch here.

The credit union has tapped St. Louis-based design/build firm HBE Financial Facilities for the 22,000 square-foot expansion and remodeling project. The branch, which will be transformed into a new home office, was originally designed and built by HBE in 1994. The project includes 12,080 square feet of new construction and 9,770 square feet of remodeled space.

The expanded branch will include new teller counters, additional drive-up teller lanes and an expanded loan department. New construction includes the building of a new administrative wing, which will include executive offices, marketing, human resources and accounting offices, as well as a new boardroom, employee lounge and training room.

The facility will remain open and operating throughout construction, which is slated to be completed by November 2007.
