HARRISBURG, Pa. — One week after the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association held its Webinar to introduce its Better Choice Program, four more credit unions have submitted signed program agreements. They join Cross Valley FCU, which signed the first agreement last week.
The four CUs are AmeriChoice FCU, Erie FCU, M-C FCU, and NET FCU.
The Better Choice Program is a unique partnership between Pennsylvania credit unions and state government to provide a statewide alternative to payday lending. Through the program, participating CUs will be able to offer lower cost short-term loans to members and anyone eligible to join the CU.
