BROOMALL, Pa. — Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union's newly remodeled Media branch may give Starbucks some competition.

The branch, which is directly across from its previous location, not only has extended business hours, but designed with a retail mall feel, will include opportunities for members to grab a latte at the Coffee Beanery(R) or connect to the World Wide Web with free wireless Internet access.

"When you go inside a mall, there are a variety of stores where you can select specific products and services that you want or need. When you walk into FMFCU's financial services mall, you can visit a specific area to open accounts, apply for a mortgage, meet with an investment counselor and handle all you're your transactions right here. It really is one-stop shopping," said FMFCU Chief Operating Officer Cindy Wanamaker.
