EUGENE, Ore. – SELCO Community Credit Union has promoted Bonnie B. Larson from director of marketing to vice president of marketing. Larson will supervise a team of five marketing specialists, and will focus on strategic planning and increasing SELCO's marketing impact for both the credit union and the numerous divisions and companies that make up the SELCO Companies. She will oversee marketing campaigns, sponsorships, events, public relations, branch merchandising, and marketing content on the organization's Web site, as well as administer the member survey and market research data-collection programs. Larson's achievements and recognitions include being named "Manager of the Year" for the Willamette Chapter of the Credit Union Association of Oregon in 2003; being elected the President of the Board of Directors of the Willamette Chapter of the Credit Union Association of Oregon in 2003; serving as a member of the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council since 2000; and serving on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Oregon Chapter of the American Marketing Association, including one term as President. Larson also established the Past President's Council of the Southwest Oregon Chapter of the AMA.
