ST. LOUIS – First Missouri Credit Union opened the door to its first new branch. “Our credit union began serving members in 1927,” said Steve Ogolin, credit union president.” “We were the first credit union in the state to open our doors. The opening of our first branch is a significant event in our history, and it’s exciting to be a part of it.” According to Ogolin, the new South County location will allow the credit union to better serve members and attract new members. Built by design/build firm Clayco, the Midamerica Circle branch is a state-of-the-art facility with remote teller station units serving members in the lobby and in the drive-up lanes. “The RTS units in the lobby are like drive-up windows that you walk up to,” said Ogolin. “They help us serve our members faster. These units have also been shown to reduce the risk of robbery at financial institutions. We can provide our members and employees a safe financial environment.” As part of the grand opening celebration, the credit union donated $500 to Feed My People, a local food pantry. Clayco donated $1,000 to the same charity.
