ORLANDO, Fla. – Autobytel inc., a leading Internet automotive marketing services company, has named Experian Automotive's AutoCheck solution as the exclusive provider of vehicle history reports for used vehicles listed on its family of Web sites. The Web sites include: 222.autobytel.com, www.autoweb.com, www.carsmart.com, www.autosite.com, and www.autoahorros.com. Experian Automotive is a division of global business solutions company ExperianT. Consumers shopping for used vehicles on Autobytel sites can now access AutoCheck vehicle history reports for vehicles they're considering buying, tapping into Experian's National Vehicle Database of more than 500 million vehicles for title, odometer and other important vehicle history information. Each car has a history, said Experian Automotive President Scott Waldron, and consumers need to have the most up-to-date vehicle information when buying a used vehicle. In another AutoCheck-related announcement, Experian has added to the information offering of the product's vehicle history reports with the inclusion of new, exclusive data sources providing nationwide coverage of police accident report sourced information along with real frame damage data. Consumers shopping for a used vehicle and using AutoCheck's vehicle history reports can access exclusive accident and frame damage data to assist them in making informed used vehicle purchasing decisions. Experian said AutoCheck is the only vehicle history report that offers this sort of exclusive police reported accident information nationwide. -
