SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Kathryn Gonzales has been named the new president/CEO of Members Business Services, LLC. MBS provides commercial loan and deposit servicing for credit unions nationwide and is owned by Arrowhead Credit Union, Southern California Edison Federal Credit Union, First Financial Credit Union, USA Federal Credit Union and the California Credit Union League. MBS has been in operation since 2003 and currently manages more than $100 million in commercial loan and deposit balances for 12 CU clients. Gonzales succeeds Steve von Rajcs who left last spring. “I’m more than excited about taking on this new role,” Gonzales said. “Our family of credit unions need business lending and deposit services in their menu of choices in order to effectively compete with other financial institutions.” Gonzales was previously the senior vice president of branch administration and sales at Arrowhead CU. According to MBS, she brings more than 20 years of combined commercial and retail banking experience having been employed with some of the largest financial institutions in the nation including Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Countrywide Mortgage Corp.
