MADISON, Wis. – The personnel changes continue at CUNA Mutual. The company has named Susan J. Albrecht as its senior vice president of CUNA Mutual’s International Division. Alrecht replaces Ralph Swoboda, who left the company to pursue other opportunities. She is responsible for leading the unit and developing its strategic plan. Albrecht is a veteran in the insurance industry, including more than 30 years at the St. Paul Companies. Her most recent position was with Arch Insurance Group in Minneapolis where she served as senior vice president-construction and environmental insurance. The International Division is an exciting place to be these days with CUNA Mutual’s push into China. The division serves credit unions in 20 nations. In another move, CUNA Mutual has named Christopher Ryan as its plastic card processor expert, a new position for the company. Ryan will work with processors to advocate best practice card security measures. He will also consult with credit unions on fraud prevention and work on CUNA Mutual’s internal efforts to reduce plastic card losses. Ryan comes to CUNA Mutual from Fair Isaac, where he was director of global fraud solutions for Fair Isaac.
