ST. LOUIS -HBE Financial Facilities is kicking off 2006 with over $15 million in contracts, which includes three credit union projects. La Loma Federal Credit Union, NE PA Community Credit Union, and Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union have tapped the design/build firm for projects. The two-story 12,400 square-foot La Loma FCU new headquarters will feature a first floor dedicated retail space, exterior drive-ups with electronic ATMs and six lobby tellers behind protective glass. Focused on keeping the existing facility operational, the NE PA Community FCU two-story 14,333 square-foot branch will be completed in phases. Some design elements include remote teller systems in the lobby, one-way video at drive-through lanes and a traditional teller line. With an eye on expanding into the Hot Springs market, Diamond Lakes FCU turned to the design/build firm to create a dynamic branch experience when members walk into its 5,583 square foot facility. According to HBE experts the future trend in branch design is smaller buildings, easy to navigate lobbies, and advanced technology for rapid transactions and utilizing facilities to extend retail branding opportunities.
