SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Here is something you don't normally see – a name change for just a single branch. Yet that is exactly what Schools Financial Credit Union has done with its East Bidwell Branch, which will be known as the College Point Branch. Sparked by members commenting on how difficult it was to find the branch since the Schools Financial CU signage wasn't easily seen from East Bidwell Street, the name change was the best solution. The name of "College Point" was chosen because the branch is located in the College Point Business Center, which has a prominent sign facing East Bidwell. In addition to the name change, the credit union has added a new, larger "Schools Financial CU" sign.
