MARIETTA, Ga. – Lockheed Georgia Employees' Federal Credit Union (LGEFCU) has continued its five-year tradition by recently hosting its annual Santa Day. The holiday event drew more than 120 people and in addition to an array of holiday snacks, the festivities included arts and crafts stations, games, and face painting. The highlight of the holiday tradition was a special appearance by Santa – LGEFCU President/CEO Ed Collins – who posed for over 100 photographs, which were presented to the children, along with a Christmas gift. In addition to Santa Day, LGEFCU holds an annual fundraising event to benefit the communities it serves. Deemed Operation Donation, LGEFCU raised over $42,000 in 2005 alone to assist more than 100 families and many other charities in Marietta and surrounding areas.
