ARLINGTON, Va. – NAFCU recently announced a group of top staffers will be visiting the Federal Reserve Board Dec. 15. NAFCU sends a small group of top staff, with report in hand, to the Federal Reserve every December to update the board on the credit union community. Fed Vice Chairman Roger Ferguson will be hosting the Dec. 15 meeting and others could drop in, according to NAFCU Chief Economist Tun Wai. Wai told reporters last week that NAFCU plans to discuss credit union lending and share growth, the impact of Federal Reserve regulation on credit unions, and credit union service in low-income areas. The trade association includes an annual report at this meeting, which will be publicly released that day.
