SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Financial Services Centers Cooperative, the national shared branching network headquartered on the West Coast, is moving forward with its self-service branching, this time adding check imaging capability to the machines. Through cooperative arrangements with Ensenta, a self-service network provider, Eastern Corporate Credit Union and Tellagent, the distributor of the machines on the East Coast, FSCC can provide self service branching machines that will allow members of FSCC credit unions to make deposits without envelopes or deposit slips. “Credit union members benefit from the convenience and enhanced user experience of our kiosks,” says Bonnie Kramer, COO with FSCC. “They simply insert a check- no deposit slip, no envelope – verify the amount, view their funds availability, and receive a picture of the check of the receipt.” “Ensenta’s certification of electronic check images with EasCorp, and our partnership with FSCC and Tellagent underscores Ensenta’s mission to provide the best, most reliable, innovative and cost-effective self-service technologies – so credit unions can out-compete large regional and national institutions in this critical delivery channel,” said Ed Viera, Ensenta president.
