HARRISBURG, Pa. – eCU Technologies continues to add credit unions to its lineup of users of the UPost online honor deposit service, with four new CUs signing on. Joining the 13 credit unions already offering the service will be $1.5 billion Mountain America CU of West Jordan, Utah; $673 million Tropical Financial CU of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; $418 million Capital Communications CU of Albany, N.Y., and $414 million Honda FCU of Torrance, Calif. “We believe that this is the beginning of a growth trend for UPost,” says Alan Brunner, COO for the tech CUSO (www.ecutechnologies) of Pennsylvania State Employees CU. “It has so much potential for credit unions to cater to their members needs – especially providing their remote members with the convenience of online deposits.” The UPost service allows members to record deposits on their online banking sites and then mail or bring the check in later. eCU Technologies also recently signed a re-seller agreement for the service with Symitar.
