ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker (center) and NAFCU Director of Regulatory Affairs Carrie Hunt held their first in-person meeting with new NCUA Board Member Rodney Hood at his NCUA office. The three spoke for about an hour, on issues ranging from consolidation in the industry and NAFCU’s relationship with Fannie Mae, to the importance of some pieces of pending legislation to the industry. Becker and Hood agreed to hold monthly meetings if their schedules allow. NAFCU is planning a similar meeting with incoming NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland.
