South Carolina Federal Gives Away Mustangs

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – South Carolina Federal Credit Union has turned the keys of two 2005 Ford Mustangs over to lucky members Jill Cragg and Steven Williams. The two were grand prize winners of the credit union’s “Get Hooked Up” Giveaway. During the Coastal Carolina Fair 20 finalists each drew from a basket of 20 identical keyless entry devices (of which only two were programmed to the Mustangs). The two finalists who were able to set off the cars’ alarms were the winners. “Everyone on Thursday night went home with a prize,” said Beth Jaskiewicz, senior vice president of marketing at S.C. Federal. “All of the finalists walked away with a $250 gift check from the credit union, just for participating.” Beginning in June and ending in September, five finalists were randomly chosen each month from people who had either opened loans with S.C. Federal or sent in a manual entry.
